In the event that students are feeling ill at school, parents will be contacted and requested to collect the students. Depending on the severity of the state of the student, they will be waiting in the waiting area by the Main Gate, or in the Sick Room by the Reception office. If your child shows symptoms of illness at home, before coming to school, do not send them to school!

Parents are encouraged to go to the Reception Office, where the child will be called over the Intercom system in the event that a valid reason has been given by the parent. If there is someone else collecting the student (Aunt/Uncle/Etc), the school will need written consent from the parent of the student in order to release the student into the care of the individual. 

Bullying is not tolerated at HSR. Parents are encouraged to come to school and book a meeting with Mr. D. Smuts, our Disciplinary Head. He will deal with the matter accordingly and assist in any way that is possible.

Parents are urged to bring all of their supporting documents (Certified Birth Certificate, Certified Copy of Parent's ID, Latest Report Card, Proof of Residence) to the Admissions Office between the hours of 07:00-15:00 on weekdays, and 07:00-14:00 on Fridays. Our Admissions Officer will be able to assist you regarding this matter. Please note that we have reached our full capacity and it is very unlikely that we will be able to enroll new students.

Parents are encouraged to go to Reception and make an appointment with the teacher in question. This is something that may prove to be difficult, considering the fact that Educators spend the entirety of the school day teaching the learners. We urge parents to be patient and considerate regarding this matter. If you cannot be assisted immediately, remember to call back and follow up.
